8.1 Executives’ office terms will begin in May with the beginning of the school year, and end in April, with the conclusion of the winter semester, as selected by NSAY executive members.

8.2 Lead Returning Officer (Non-voting)

a. Provide an email for which nominations for elected positions can be directed

b. Monitor and present a list of all nominations for elected positions to the    

    pre-election meeting.

c. Provide election oversight to ensure fair and equitable elections.

d. Field all complaints regarding unfair elections, if the party is not satisfied with

   the decision of the LRO then may escalate to SCLD or YFS for conflict resolution

     e. Not required to attend bi-weekly meetings.

     f.  No voting rights.
